The College uses an alert system called Raider Alert to notify students, faculty and staff about school closings and emergencies directly impacting the campus. You may register to receive notifications via phone, text, or email. You may add multiple contact numbers and email addresses to your Raider Alert account if you wish. The Rose State College home page will also display a banner alert message to provide information about how classes are affected by the service interruption.
Since every class at the College has a corresponding Canvas instance, virtual activities may take place even when the campus is closed unexpectedly. Instructors will handle virtual activities differently depending upon the needs of the course and its students. Please check Canvas for details regarding activities for each course.
