OK-Share is a cooperative program among libraries at Oklahoma's public and private colleges and universities that allows higher education students, faculty, and staff from member libraries to borrow books from the circulating collections of other OK-Share member libraries. Each library sets its own policies for OK-Share patrons, so borrowing privileges may differ from those at your home institution.
Apply for an OK-Share courtesy card at the RSC Library Circulation Desk. Next, take this card to any participating OK-Share member library, along with a valid photo ID, and they will issue you a courtesy card that allows you to check out materials from their library. You can return the books you borrow directly to the Lending Library or you can return them to the RSC Circulation Desk and we will return them for you. Please note that you will be responsible to the Lending Library for any overdue fees, if incurred. For RSC students, this card is only valid for the current semester. For RSC faculty and staff, an OK-Share card is valid through August 1. No patron whose record indicates a library block or other library restriction will be issued an OK-Share card until the reason for the block or restriction has been resolved.
Contact the library at your college or university and ask to apply for an OK-Share courtesy card. Next, present your OK-Share card at our RSC Library Circulation Desk, along with a valid photo ID, and we will issue you an RSC OK-Share courtesy card. The RSC OK-Share card and your institution's OK-Share card are both required to check out books from our library.
